Dezember 2024 hat Thailands Mindestlohnausschuss eine Entscheidung getroffen: Die Erh\u00f6hung des Mindestlohns, die am 1. Januar 2025 in Kraft getreten ist, variiert je nach Provinz und liegt nun zwischen 337 und 400 Baht pro Tag. Diese Mindestlohnanpassung kommt 3.760.697 Arbeitnehmern zugute. Mai 2024 k\u00fcndigten Innenminister Anutin Charnvirakul und Arbeitsminister Pipat Ratchakitprakarn die Erh\u00f6hung des Mindestlohns auf landesweit 400 Baht pro Tag (ca. 11 EUR) an. Die Regelung sollte am 1. Oktober 2024 in Kraft treten. Diese Regelung h\u00e4tte eine Premiere f\u00fcr Thailand bedeutet, da es die erste landesweite Anpassung des Mindestlohns gewesen w\u00e4re. Allerdings kam es nicht dazu, da in der entscheidenden Sitzung im September 2024 die erforderliche Mindestanzahl von zwei Dritteln der Mitglieder des Mindestlohnausschusses nicht erreicht wurde, was eine Abstimmung unm\u00f6glich machte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aussichten f\u00fcr Arbeitnehmer in Thailand&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die thail\u00e4ndische Regierung hat bereits angek\u00fcndigt, dass sie plant, den Mindestlohn bis 2027 schrittweise auf 600 Baht (ca. 17 EUR) anzuheben. Dieses Ziel ist Teil eines umfassenderen Plans zur St\u00e4rkung der wirtschaftlichen Stabilit\u00e4t und zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualit\u00e4t f\u00fcr alle B\u00fcrger. Die schrittweise Erh\u00f6hung des Mindestlohns wird als entscheidend angesehen f\u00fcr die Schaffung eines nachhaltigeren wirtschaftlichen Umfelds. Ob es tats\u00e4chlich zu einer solchen Erh\u00f6hung kommen wird, bleibt abzuwarten, doch die Diskussion \u00fcber L\u00f6hne und deren soziale Auswirkungen wird in Thailand sicherlich weiter an Bedeutung gewinnen.
